Graduate Program in Accounting Research (GPAR)
The GPAR programme is an association of six chairs at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Leibniz Universität Hannover and the University of Osnabrück with a focus on accounting and was founded in summer 2014. It is primarily aimed at doctoral students from the participating chairs. The aim of the programme is to improve the quality of doctoral training by offering various methodological courses and to support research work. The programme comprises six different doctoral courses, each of which is offered once a year.
The GPAR is made up of the following chairs:

- Prof. Dr. Andreas Scholze, Universität Osnabrück, Lehrstuhl für International Accounting
- Prof. Dr. Stefan Wielenberg, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Institut für Rechnungslegung und Wirtschaftsprüfung
