25. September 2024 : Members of the Environmental Economics department at the LANDSCAPE conference in Berlin

The LANDSCAPE 2024 conference of the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) took place in Berlin from 17 to 19 September. Moritz Fritschle and Thomas Rellensmann from the Department of Environmental Economics were there and presented their current research.

The motto of this year's LANDSCAPE conference was ‘Agroecosystems in transformation’ and brought together interdisciplinary research focussing on visions, technologies and actors. With more than 300 participants from social and natural science research as well as the private and public sectors, the conference facilitated an intensive exchange on the design of transformation processes in agriculture. Moritz Fritschle and Thomas Rellensmann presented results from the FRAMEwork research project on the influence of behavioural economic factors on farmers' preferences in agri-environmental programmes (M. Fritschle) and on the potential of combined result-based and collective payments in agri-environmental programmes (T. Rellensmann).
